mo me

In short, which is fitting for those of you who have seen me, but perhaps not for those who know how much I love to talk, I am just a girl with a thirst to see the world and make my mark on it.  In lieu of writing an autobiography that would undoubtedly be excessive, I will now list some things about myself that will help you in the future in regard to, but not limited to, the following:

  • Games of two truths and a lie

  • Conversation topics in the event that I somehow run out

  • Gift giving

Mo things about Mohri:

  • I am a Community and Organizational Development Peace Corps Volunteer in Albania.

  • I love to run, but I am woefully unathletic.

  • I love to hike.

  • I sing all the time. I'm talking, I sing my thoughts, directions to where I'm going, words in the middle of sentences, questions to the barista taking my order, etc.

  • I'm 4'11".

  • I have the absolute best family in the entire world, and that's just not an exaggeration, nor is it something that is debatable.

  • Yellow is my favorite color, closely followed by purple.

  • My dream car is a Mini Cooper.

  • I am a human garbage disposal and will never say no to food.  However, my favorites are meatballs, Reece's, anything with peanut butter on it, peanut butter tacos, Scheme pizza from good 'ole Salina, KS, and for the record, I also love peanut butter.

  • I am not known for my ability to sense fear.

  • Also danger, can't sense that either.

  • I am the least patient person I know.

  • My football teams are the K-State Wildcats and the Patriots, other than that and any team my siblings are on, I really don't care who wins as long as there is food to eat while I'm watching the game.

  • I love to travel.

  • My Jesus rocks a lot.

  • I love Kansas sunsets.

  • I'm getting tired of thinking about myself.

On to bigger and better things. If you're here because you know me, or just because you stumbled upon this by accident, I hope that this blog will give you a glimpse of what life looks like behind my eyes.  I also hope that my attempt to capture the beauty and complexity of this world are insightful to you in some way, though I acknowledge that I am woefully inadequate in this quest. However, I promise that you can expect my story, accompanied by meandering thoughts about meaning and references to some of the greatest thinkers in both the world and in my world.

Go far, and go often.

Mohri
